Stella R. White, 88, Lewiston
Stella Ruth Herring White, 88, of Lewiston, died Sunday morning, Dec. 18, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 21, 1916, in the Teakean-Cavendish area. Her parents were Orville Herring and Carrie Heltzel Herring.
Stella moved to Lewiston in 1943 and worked many years as a waitress.
She married James F. White in March 1950. They were the parents of two sons, James Jr. and Dan.
Stella was a member of the Church of the Brethren while living at Teakean.
She is survived by her son Dan White of Lewiston.
Stella was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters, her son, James Jr., and her grandson, Jamie.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Malcom's Funeral Home, Lewiston.
